Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Making, printing and sharing puzzles of up to 30 words on grids up to 20×20 is free, with no signup and no print limit. Free sheets carry a small "Made free with PuzzleSheet" line at the bottom. Pro, launching in mid-November, adds bigger puzzles, versions, large print and shapes for people who want them.
How do I print the answer key?
Click "Print / Save PDF". The puzzle prints on page 1 and the answer key, with every word highlighted, on page 2. Turn off "Answer key page" if you only want the puzzle. Choose "Save as PDF" as the printer to keep a file.
What happens to words that do not fit?
They are listed under the word box with the reason: longer than the grid, or no room left. Make the grid bigger, pick a harder difficulty (more directions means more room) or press New layout. A word is never dropped without telling you.
Can another teacher print the same puzzle?
Yes. "Copy share link" makes a link with your words and the puzzle code inside it. Anyone who opens it gets the identical grid and answer key. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Can I make bingo cards from the same words?
Yes. "Make bingo cards from this list" opens BingoSheet, our free bingo card maker, with your words already loaded and a class set of cards generated.
Do you store my words?
No. Puzzles are made in your browser. Your words only leave the page if you copy a share link, and then they live inside that link, not on our servers.
